FAQs
A few things you might be wondering
-
In your Initial Consultation or Health Audit, we take the time to explore your full health story. This includes your symptoms, medical history, family background, lifestyle, and what’s been going on for you. We’ll also talk through your goals and any underlying factors that may be influencing your health.
For in person appointments, live blood analysis may be included where appropriate. This involves observing a small drop of blood under a microscope and can offer additional insight into areas such as hydration, inflammation, nutrient status, and overall balance. If you’re booked for this, it’s recommended to avoid eating for around four hours beforehand to support clearer observations.
After your session, you’ll receive a personalised plan tailored to your needs. We’ll go through this together and set realistic, achievable steps to move forward.
During follow up appointments, we check in on your progress, acknowledge what’s working, and adjust anything that needs refining. The aim is to support you with the tools, confidence, and guidance to take an active role in your health, at a pace that feels right for you.
-
The number of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Most people begin with an Initial Consultation, followed by a couple of follow up appointments over the first few months.
If your concerns are more complex or longer term, more regular support may be helpful at the beginning. We’ll talk this through together and adjust the approach as we go.
As things begin to settle, occasional check ins every few months can help maintain progress and prevent setbacks. The frequency and pace are always guided by what feels right for you.

Before your first consultation, you’ll be asked to complete a health questionnaire. This helps me understand your background and make the most of our time together.
If you have access to recent blood tests or relevant medical results, you’re welcome to share those.

Yes. Naturopathic care is designed to work alongside conventional medical care, not replace it.
I take your current medications, medical history, and any existing conditions into account when making recommendations. Everything is carefully considered for safety, including potential interactions or contraindications.
If something isn’t appropriate for you, it won’t be recommended. Safety and a collaborative approach are always a priority.

While I enjoy meeting clients in person, I understand that’s not always possible. Online consultations are available if you’re outside of Auckland, or if you prefer the flexibility of a virtual appointment.

While much of my work focuses on women’s health, supporting families through all stages of life is important to me. I work with people of all genders and ages, with each approach tailored to the individual.
My aim is to support wellbeing across the whole family, helping everyone feel more balanced, supported, and able to thrive. If you’re unsure whether naturopathic care is right for you or a family member, you’re always welcome to get in touch and talk it through.
-
Yes. Many people seek naturopathic care during periods of stress, fatigue, or burnout.
Support is always guided by where you’re at. This may include gentle nutritional and herbal support, nervous system care, sleep support, and small, realistic lifestyle adjustments. The focus is on helping you feel more regulated and supported, without adding more to your plate.
Everything is paced carefully, with your capacity and wellbeing front of mind.
-
No. You don’t need a diagnosis or a specific concern to book an appointment.
Some people come with clear symptoms they’d like support with, while others are feeling run down, out of balance, or simply want to better understand their health. Both are welcome.
Naturopathic care can support clarity, prevention, and overall wellbeing, not just symptom management.
